SIR’s Annual Scientific Meeting is a recognized forum for peer-reviewed presentations of new research by interventional radiologists and allied scientists from around the world. SIR 2023 provides a host of media opportunities including scientific presentations featuring the latest information on a variety of health care topics and medical research, poster abstract presentations and medical and technical exhibits.

Requests for media list

Please note: SIR does not release its list of reporter attendees. Typically, they are comprised of national reporters, trade press, local TV reporters and freelance writers. Exhibitors may reach on site press in SIR’s newsroom by distributing company materials. Exhibitors who wish to place press materials in the SIR newsroom must submit a request and the materials for review to SIR’s communication department at least 14 days in advance of the meeting. SIR encourages media and members to discuss the meeting over social media within embargo restrictions. All abstracts are embargoed until the time of their delivery, but live posts during the presentations are permitted, to include sharing photos or videos of slides or speakers.
