I strongly believe in the power of nutrition and plant-based foods and their impact on health and longevity. I am currently completing my Ph.D. in nutrition at Loma Linda University School of Public Health. Within the last year, I was able to earn my Ph.D. candidacy. My current research focuses on the impact of the polyphenols found in walnuts on cardiometabolic risk factors. In May of 2022, I was awarded The Merrit C. Horning Award for Outstanding Research from Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
