For NUTRITION 2022 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), click here.

Information about NUTRITION 2022 certificates can be found below:
  • Certificate of Attendance: All NUTRITION 2022 attendees are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance. A certificate of attendance verifies your attendance/participation in the event but does not indicate any continuing education available for the activity. To claim your Certificate of Attendance, please click here or use the following URL to access the website: https://www.mcisemi.com/nutrition2022/coa/.
    • Follow the login instructions to access your certificate of attendance. Please be prepared to enter the following information: Last Name and Registration Record ID OR Email Address only.
    • Certificates may be printed or emailed directly from the website.  
    • *Note that Certificates of Attendance are available for each NUTRITION 2022 event, based on an honor system. Certificates of Attendance should only be claimed for events for which you have registered and attended.
  • Certificate of Presentation: Abstract presenters can request a Certificate of Presentation specific to their abstract presentation beginning on June 17. To request a Certificate of Presentation, please email education@nutrition.org, use the subject line 'Certificate of Presentation', and include the abstract presentation number in the body of the email message. Please allow 3 business days to receive a Certificate of Presentation by return email.
  • Continuing Education Certificates: 
    • For live events offering CE credit, attendees can claim CE credit after the live event has occurred. 
    • For recorded events offering CE credit, attendees can claim CE credit approximately one week after the live event occurred.
      • IMPORTANT NOTE: CE credit for recordings will only be available as CPE for registered dietitians and CME for physicians.
    • To claim CE credit, click Continuing Education on the left-hand panel, and then Claim CE Credit to access the Continuing Education evaluation (login required). Evaluations must be completed to download a Continuing Education certificate. The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit is December 31, 2022.

How to Check Your Device

Recommendations
  • Use Chrome (or Firefox if needed)
  • Ensure your internet connection is strong
  • Disconnect from any VPN (you may need to reach out to your IT administrator to bypass your organization’s firewall)
  • If you have connected from home, ensure that Netflix or other streaming services do not interfere with your bandwidth
  • Close any browser tabs with pages that can use large amounts of bandwidth
System Check
Testing your device is a great way to ensure you are ready to access NUTRITION 2022 content! The platform provides a System Check tool that runs a series of checks on your computer and web browsers to get confirmation that your device is suitable to use the full potential of the platform.

If there are any problems then you will see either yellow warnings (things that can be improved) or red warnings (things that may limit your experience). Your organization's IT support team may be able to help you resolve any of these that are beyond your capabilities.

Live Sessions and Events / Zoom Meeting and Webinar
For live sessions and events, after clicking the ‘Join/View’ button in the meeting platform you will be redirected to the event which will be held in Zoom Webinar or Zoom Meeting. Access to NUTRITION 2022 events will only be granted if you enter the session/event through the meeting platform.

Complete a Zoom test (https://zoom.us/test) in advance of NUTRITION 2022 to join a test Zoom meeting to familiarize yourself with it and test your microphone/speakers. Please complete the test from the computer you will be using to insure there are no technical issues.

How to Log In

To access NUTRITION 2022 content, follow these steps:

  • To log in, use the email address you registered with and your password. You should have received your password by email. If you have not received your password, click here to have your password resent to you.

  • Once logged in, you must accept the terms and privacy policy to continue.
  • Set up your attendee profile so you can start connecting with other attendees and speakers.
  • Explore the NUTRITION 2022 program, favorite items to add them to your personal schedule, and get familiar with the platform.

How to Set Up Your Attendee Profile

The first time you login, you will be prompted to set up your attendee profile. You can also update your profile at any time by clicking here (login required) if you would like to make changes.

Please note providing a photo and most other information during the attendee profile process is optional. Click the 'Save and Continue' button at the top right to proceed through the attendee profile process to bypass the optional items included.

ASN encourages you to update your profile with your photo and opt into the networking options to get the most out of the virtual meeting’s features.

There are 5 steps to setting up your profile:
  • Profile: Update your name, professional information, and social media accounts. Almost all fields are optional.
  • Photo: Upload a photo to appear as part of your attendee profile. This is optional but encouraged.
  • Ribbons: Add ribbons to appear on your attendee profile. Like at ASN’s in-person meetings, these ribbons will help other attendees learn more about you. There are a variety of professional and fun ribbons to choose from.
  • Matchmaking: Choose your preferences for NUTRITION 2022’s Matchmaking feature. This will help identify sessions and events matching your interests.
  • Networking:
    • Select your privacy options. Questions include:
      • Share contact information with other users, including attendees and sponsors on the platform? By sharing your contact information, your profile will appear on the attendee list under your name and other users can contact you. By opting into this networking feature, you will also be able to send and receive messages with other attendees on the meeting platform.
      • Share contact information with sponsors you interact with? By sharing your contact information, exhibitors and sponsors you interact with on the platform may contact you to answer your questions or provide additional information.
      • Share your favorites with other users, including attendees and sponsors? By sharing your favorites, other attendees can see which schedule items you have added to your schedule.
    • If you opt into appearing on the attendee list, you can include additional information to introduce yourself and your preferences for connecting with other attendees. This information will appear on your attendee profile and is optional to include.

NUTRITION 2022 LIVE ONLINE, ASN's flagship meeting from June 14-16, will include over 1200 abstract presentations. Abstract presentations will be available on demand, offering flexibility to presenters and attendees for their schedules. More information about abstract titles and presenters will be available in late April. Abstract presentations, including abstract text, poster and oral presentations, will be available beginning on June 14. Individuals mst be registered for NUTRITION 2022 LIVE ONLINE to access abstract presentations.

How to Access Live Content

To access a live NUTRITION 2022 event, on the session's popup, click the 'View/Join' button. You will be redirected to a Zoom event.  

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be registered for the event to be granted access to the live event.

Recordings for live sessions will be available within 24 hours of the live event if an ‘R’ icon accompanies it on the meeting schedule.

How to Access On Demand Content

Select NUTRITION 2022 LIVE ONLINE content will be available On Demand for your convenience.

To view an On Demand presentation, on the presentation's popup, click the 'View Recording' button.

For Oral Sessions and the Emerging Science: Highlights from Rapid Science Submissions session, on the session popup window, click on a presentation title to view a specific presentation. Then, click the View Presentation button. A new window will open where the presentation will be played.

For Poster Presentations, on the abstract popup window, click on the ePoster image or the View ePoster button. The ePoster will display and audio will be played simultaneously.

Q&A for Abstract and Emerging Science Presentations (available June 14-16)
When viewing abstract and Emerging Science presentations, engage with presenting authors by submitting a question. Click the Q&A button on the popup window to submit a question. Then, click the Ask Question button and submit a question. Check for replies on your My Experience page (login required) by clicking on My Questions.

Q&A Instructions for Abstract and Emerging Science Presenting Authors (Replying to Submitted Questions)
To reply to questions submitted for your presentation, you must login to the Speaker Portal if you are the presenting author of an oral or Emerging Science presentation or the Abstract Presenter Portal if you are the presenting author of a poster presentation. Presenting authors were an email from ASN with complete details regarding this process on June 10.

Please contact education@nutrition.org if you have any questions at any time.

How to Access Recorded Content

Recordings will be available if an ‘R’ icon accompanies the event on the NUTRITION 2022 schedule. If an 'R' icon is not included, a recording will not be available for the event.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be registered for the event to be granted access to the event's recording. 

When a recording becomes available, on the session's popup, click the 'View Recording' button at the bottom to view it.

How to Use My Experience

Once logged in, use your My Experience page to manage and enhance your NUTRITION 2022 experience. My Experience is your hub for NUTRITION 2022 content and features.

Click here to access your My Experience page (login required). It can also be accessed from the left-hand panel.

On My Experience, access the following resources at any time:
  1. My Experience: Schedule: Your personalized schedule based on the educational tracks you selected in your attendee profile.
  2. Profile (listed as your name): Your profile information for NUTRITION 2022 - edit your information at any time!
  3. Networking: Your networking resource for the meeting. Once clicked, you will be redirected to the Attendee List where you can browse the list to connect with other attendees. The Attendee List will be available on May 15.
  4. My Schedule: Your schedule based on the sessions and events you have favorited.
  5. My Posters: Posters you have favorited.
  6. My Questions: Your questions submitted for a NUTRITION 2022 LIVE ONLINE oral, Emerging Science or poster presentation. Please note questions should only be submitted to presenting authors using the Q&A feature from June 14-16.
  7. Technical Support: Get help and information, or submit a support ticket to the technical support team.

How to Claim Continuing Education Credits

NUTRITION 2022 will offer Continuing Education credit for live attendance and viewing of recordings for select NUTRITION 2022 sessions and events.

Sessions and events offering Continuing Education credit are indicated on the NUTRITION 2022 schedule by the following icons.
 indicates CME credit for physicians will be available
 indicates CPE credit for registered dietitians will be available
 indicates CECH credit for CHES/MCHES will be available (live attendance only)

  • Live Attendance: The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit for live attendance is July 31, 2022.
  • Enduring Materials (Recordings): The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit for enduring materials (recordings) is December 31, 2022. Please note CECH for CHES/MCHES cannot be claimed for enduring materials (recordings).

  • Live Attendance: The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit for live attendance is November 6, 2022.
  • Enduring Materials (Recordings): The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit for enduring materials (recordings) is December 31, 2022.

Network with Attendees
View the Attendee List (login required) to find others looking to connect and network!  The Attendee List will be available on May 15 to attendees logged into the platform.
  • Click on an attendee’s profile to learn more about them. Connect with them by social media if they have shared this information.  You can also send them a message by clicking Text Chat at the top of their attendee profile.
  • Use the questions at the top of the Attendee List to filter the list.
  • Click on a virtual ribbon to find others with common interests.
