Ella Koivuniemi is a late stage doctoral candidate from the Early Nutrition and Health research group in the University of Turku, Finland. In her PhD project, Koivuniemi aims to assess lifestyle habits of pregnant women and children as well as to study and develop novel means, such as health apps and short methods for the assessment of diet quality, to support health-promoting lifestyle in these target groups.
