Haruna Aridomi is a 3rd year medical student at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, where she recently obtained her Masters in Health and Medical Sciences and is currently pursuing her medical degree. She has a dual Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Social Welfare from UC Berkeley, and has extensive experience working with people experiencing homelessness both in the city of Berkeley and San Francisco. In Berkeley, she worked in a free clinic as medical division administrator, and in San Francisco, she served as a care coordinator at the Tenderloin Health Services. She also helped found the Berkeley Outreach Coalition with other housing advocates to coordinate outreach and provide resources to those living in Berkeley encampments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Haruna hopes to integrate health policy and advocacy into her career as an emergenchy physician.
