Dr. Sangal is a assistant professor and associate medical director in the Yale University Department of Emergency Medicine. He completed medical school at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and emergency medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania where he was chief resident. He has an interest in quality improvement work and has conducted projects related to patient safety, throughput, provider workflows and resident education. His most current active project includes leading the standardization of care across the multiple emergency departments within the health system. He enjoys collaborating on projects that span departments to bring broad viewpoints to focused questions. He would love to connect and brainstorm QI ideas or talk about some of his favorite movies, ski trips or playing tennis!
