John Ashurst, DO, MSc, is the current program director of the emergency medicine residency and the director of graduate medical education at Kingman Regional Medical Center. He completed his residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network, masters degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and is currently enrolled in the doctorate in health professions education at AT Still University. He currently serves as a senior editorial consultant for the American Journal of Emergency Medicine, section editor for the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine and Clinical Practice and Cases in Emergency Medicine, and as an associate editor for the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association. He has been awarded numerous grants and published manuscripts on a variety of topics in emergency medicine and medical education.
