Jossie Carreras Tartak, MD, MBA, is a PGY3 resident at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico, completed her undergraduate education at New York University, obtained her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania along with her MBA at The Wharton School. She is interested in addressing health disparities from a systems perspective and plans to return to her home island to improve access to healthcare.
