Dr. Nour Al Jalbout is an American Board certified Emergency Physician who completed her residency at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2019 where she served as the Chief Resident for the academic year of 2017-2018. Shortly after graduating, she joined the faculty at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Lebanon where she practiced for 2 years, witnessing the Beirut Port Explosion, multiple riots and one of most severe economic collapses in history, working with tight resources and under a fragile healthcare infrastructure. In 2021, she joined the ultrasound program at the Massachusetts General Hospital, as a clinical fellow of the Harvard Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. She is actively involved in multiple research projects focusing on ultrasound in medical education, critical resuscitation and advanced echocardiography including transesophageal echocardiography use in the emergency department.
