Dr. Chris Evans is currently a 2nd-year clinical informatics fellow and clinical instructor of emergency medicine at UNC Chapel Hill. He graduated medical school from UC San Diego School of Medicine with a joint MPH degree from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research and informatics interests are in clinical data summarization and visualization, applied natural language processing (NLP), and electronic health record optimization.
