Theodore W. Heyming MD, is the Medical Director of the CHOC Children's Emergency Department in Orange, CA. Current research interests include; medical device applications, machine learning, and anxiety/pain during ED procedures. During the COVID-19 pandemic he has been involved in a diverse set of projects including healthcare worker COVID testing (PCR test validation and antibody responses), child abuse prevalence, and pediatric healthcare worker anxiety/burnout.
