Samir Hassanin is a third year medical student at Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical school. He has a passion for statisitcal analysis, research, health policy, and health advocacy. Samir is a California native who attended UC Berkeley and studied public health before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he moved to Philadelphia where he completed a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania before attending medical school. In his free time, Samir enjoys playing guitar, surfing, swimming, and gaming.
