Originally from South Korea, Dr. Chung is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with degrees in Biology and Anthropology. She then attended medical school at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Excellence in Otolaryngology Award and Scholarship. She was an active member in various mentoring and tutoring programs within medical school and to marginalized students in Newark, NJ. Her current clinical and research interests include sinonasal inflammatory disorders, exercise physiology affected by functional rhinologic surgery, and quality of life outcomes after rhinologic surgery. After residency, Dr. Chung plans to attend Rhinology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
