Alejandro GarcĂa is a international medical graduate from Colombia working as a research fellow in Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI). He works in the Lee-Brown lab focusing on auditory prosthesis including cochlear implants (CIs) and auditory brainstem implants (ABIs). He especially likes to translate findings from basic science to clinical research. He works with patients who have CIs and ABIs analyzing how diagnostic images, usage data and electrophysiology parameters can affect auditory outcomes. He is applying for residency in otolaryngology and will like to keep working on translational research in the future.
