Anusha Ponduri, BA is a fourth year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. She grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. Prior to medical school, she also completed a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, where she studied CAR T-cell therapy in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Her research within otolaryngology has included surgical outcomes and quality improvement in head and neck cancer, outcomes in AERD patients treated with endoscopic sinus surgery, the use of drug induced sleep endoscopy in OSA and UARS patients, and the efficacy of HPV vaccine as an adjuvant therapy in recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. She hopes to apply her research experiences to her future career and incorporate innovation into her clinical practice.
