Mia E. Miller, MD is the Neurotologic Director of the Cedars Sinai Acoustic Neuroma and Lateral Skull Base Center. Dr. Miller earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard College. She spent a year as a research fellow at the Laboratory of Biochemistry at L’Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, France. She earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School and completed Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery residency training at UCLA. Dr. Miller completed fellowship training at UCSD in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery and was on faculty at UCSF and the House Clinic before being recruited to Cedars Sinai. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Otologic Society and serves on program committees for the North American Skull Base Society and the Triological Society. She is the past President of the Los Angeles Society of Otolaryngology. Her research interests include human temporal bone histopathology studies of acoustic neuroma and imaging modalities for evaluation of patients with skull base pathologies. She is also involved in research focused on strategies for hearing improvement in patients with and without vestibular schwannoma.
