Dr. Adria Scharf is a sociologist and Director of the Curriculum Library for Employee Ownership (cleo.rutgers.edu) at the Rutgers University Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing. CLEO is the world's only online library dedicated to employee share ownership; it features more than 600 resources designed to help college professors teach about employee ownership in their classes.
Dr. Scharf is also a researcher and lecturer whose research has focused on the wealth effects of employee ownership for workers and the role of employee ownership in the employment relationship. She has surveyed or conducted interviews with hundreds of ESOP companies over her career. She teaches a course on equity compensation and employee ownership at the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations.
