Session Format:
There will be introductions of the main topics, then breakout facilitated discussion groups and then the group comes together for takeaways.

Session Objective/

Overview:
This is an opportunity for all of us to reflect, renew, reconnect to envision a new normal for us, our customers and our libraries.
Presenters will introduce each subtopic with personal stories to start the discussions.
Participants will select a subtopic breakout group to join a facilitated discussion to share their stories.
The large group will come together to solidify takeaways

Methods:
Facilitated breakout sessions in a welcoming environment are planned on the 3 major topics of this session-reflecting, renewing and reconnecting.There will be a report-back session of the entire group and takeaways will be decided.

Participant Engagement:
During facilitated breakout sessions, participants will be encouraged to share personal stories and comment on colleague stories.

Participants will articulate a new idea to deliver even better service to their constituencies. Participants, by listening to colleagues, envision the new normal for their library service within their organizations,
Participants will make new professional and personal connections within MLA. Participants will gain a spirit of renewing the value of a medical librarian within a health care organization.
