Sharmistha Pal, Ph.D. I am a senior scientist in the department of radiation oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. My research focus is identification and preclinical validation of novel therapeutic for pediatric high grade gliomas. Specific interest lies in discovering oncogene induced vulnerabilities that lead to conditional lethality when combined with radiation treatment. Preclinical studies aim at understanding the mechanism of dependency, and mechanism of action and resistance to therapeutic agents.
