American Excelsior Company invented the erosion control blanket in the 1960s with Curlex I. Since then, we have continued to innovate, improve, and expand our Curlex product line. The key to any Curlex product is the fiber. Curlex fibers provide a powerful starting point for a wide variety of erosion and sediment control products. This presentation follows the evolution of Curlex based products from the 1960’s to present day. We will also discuss research and testing capabilities of the ErosionLab® and a variety of required third party testing.
