Conference Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

Q: I am a registered attendee and don't know my access key, what do I do?

Select the 'login' button at the top of the website and use the 'forgot access key' option. Be sure to use the same email to retrieve your access key as you did to register for the conference. If you are still having issues, please stop by the IECA Registration Desk at the Minneapolis Convention Center or email Membership Manager - Cassy Hemmen - cassy@ieca.org

Q: How do I get access to the virtual conference and when does the virtual conference start? 

Anyone with a Full Conference or Young Professional Pass to the IECA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo in Minneapolis, MN will have full access to the Virtual Conference. If you have a virtual conference pass only - your access will begin on Mon, 28 Feb with the ability to set up your profile, creating your personal schedule, attending on demand IECA courses and connecting with attendees. The live education runs from Tues, 1 Mar to Thurs, 2 Mar. The conference platform and education content will be available until April 30, 2022. 

Q: What Time Zone does the virtual conference take place in?

The conference will take place in Central Standard Time. All schedule times on the event website will display in your local time zone OR Central Standard Time, depending on the settings you chose in your My Account profile.

Q: Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?

No. Each person attending the conferences must have their own registration and login.

Education

Q: What webcast platform will the conference be presented in?

The conference is presented on the CadmiumCD platform. The live education is presented in a Zoom Webinar. 

Q: Is all the content from the live conference available in a virtual format? 

No. Programming marked with a "V" in the conference program indicates there will be a virtual component of that presentation.

Q: What if I miss a live session?

Live sessions are recorded and will be available to view online within 4 hours of the completion of the livestream.

Q: How do I claim my credit on earned Professional Development Hours?

On each session/presentation description that offers professional development you will find a “claim credit” button. This will take you to a survey for the session. To unlock the session evaluation you will need to input the provided verification code to unlock the ability to claim credit for that session. You can complete classroom survey's anytime and you will claim your certificate from the conference when you are completed with all the education sessions you wish to participate in. We highly suggest making note of the verification codes or unlocking sessions immediately upon completion to keep track of the sessions you have attended.

Q: What if I missed a verification code for a particular session?

No problem! Reach out to IECA Managing Director, Joanna Fetherolf and she will provide the verification code: joanna@ieca.org

Q: Can participants ask questions during and/or after education sessions?

Yes, during live in-person and webinar presentations there will be time for QA. For additional questions or questions on the on-demand presentations please message or email the instructor directly. 

Expo Hall

Q: What options do I have to network with attendees and exhibitors?

Visit the booths in the expo hall and locate their booth represenatives to email or message directly. You can also start a text chat with a company directly if they have that enabled in their virtual booth space. 

Q: How do I search exhibitors?

Select Expo Hall from the left hand navigation, then you can search the interactive floor plan or the exhibitor listing.
