IECA President, Nicky Araujo, and CEO, Samantha Roe, provided an overview of education happenings in 2021 that included a look at the virtual conference and included in-person chapter events. In addition, the technology launched last year, including the launch of the IECA Connect global community, the development of the IECA News Room and revamped eNewsletter and providing Professional Plus members the ability to access free online education to more than 75 IECA-hosted sessions.
2022 Initiatives Leadership provided an overview for the focus of IECA in the coming year which includes:
The creation of a new European Chapter with the potential for additional chapter development.
The formation of an Emerging Leaders Committee that will focus on supporting young professionals and individuals new to the industry the education and resources they need to thrive in the industry.
The kickoff of a year-long 50th Anniversary Celebration that concludes at the 2023 IECA Annual Conference in Kansas City February 5-8.
