Dr. Ya-Hsin Yu is the Clinic Director of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her dental degree from China Medical University, Taiwan. After practicing for a few years as a general dentist, Dr. Yu decided to pursue endodontic specialty training. She enrolled in an endodontic program at Taipei Veteran General Hospital until 2015. Dr. Yu then obtained her postgraduate endodontic certificate, master’s degree, and DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests are focused on TMJ/endodontic pain and the outcome of endodontic-related surgery. She teaches both predoctoral students and postdoctoral residents in clinic, seminars, and literature reviews. Now, she is a full-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania and has lectured at national and international conferences. Dr. Yu is also a board-certified endodontist and a reviewer for the Journal of Endodontics.
The AAE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, a recognized provider in California (#2030), Florida (#PP0049). Programs of the AAE (#214682) are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AAE designates this activity for up to 35.5 continuing education credits. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ada.org/cerp.
