Registration Terms & Conditions

Registration Deadlines

The early registration rate will be granted for registrations received by March 23, 2022. After this date, standard fees will apply.

You may also register for the virtual livestream package at any point during the days of the meeting to take advantage of live educational sessions, or register following the meeting to gain access to session recordings and additional meeting content. Educational content will be available to registrants through May 31, 2022.

Onsite Registration

The AAE Registration and Information desks, located in the Phoenix Convention Center, will be open during the following days/times:
  • Tuesday, April 26, 2022: 1 – 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 27, 2022: 7 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 28, 2022: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 29, 2022: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30, 2022: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Payment and Confirmation

Registration without complete payment cannot be processed. If you have an email address on file you will receive an electronic confirmation. You will also receive a final email confirmation approximately two weeks in advance of the meeting. Please bring this final confirmation with you to expedite obtaining your badge and appropriate tickets.

Registration Cancellations

All registration refunds approved by AAE will be issued within 5 to 7 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment.

In Person

In-person registration packages will be refunded, less a $100 processing fee ($50 for students and professional staff), if the AAE receives written notification of cancellation by March 30, 2022. The assistant executive director of meetings will review refund requests made in writing after this date as a result of emergencies or other serious events. Requests received after April 22, 2022, will be reviewed following the meeting.

Virtual Only

If you are unable to attend the livestream of AAE22, all livestreamed session recordings will be available through the AAE22 website until May 31, 2022. After this date, session recordings will be available on Endo On Demand starting July 1, 2022, and a paid subscription to Endo On Demand will be required to access the recordings.

Registration packages will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee ($25 for students and professional staff), if the AAE receives written notification of a cancellation by March 30, 2022. Email cancellations to Maritz at aaendo@Maritz.com or via fax 330-425-4983.

No-Show Policies

Workshop No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for their scheduled workshop within 30 minutes of the published start time. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot at the workshop and an individual from the waitlist will be given their place.

Tour Cancellation & No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for the tour within 15 minutes of the published departure time. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot for the tour and an individual from the waitlist will be given their place.

Vaccine Requirements

One of the following will be required for all attendees, exhibitors, vendors and guests to attend AAE22 in-person:

1. Proof of vaccination:
⚬ A person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.
⚬ COVID-19 booster shot is strongly encouraged as extra protection.
 
2. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of arrival on-site in lieu of proof of vaccination
⚬ The initial test must be administered by a medical professional on official paperwork and not self-administered.
⚬ After the initial test, you must provide a negative text every 72 hours during the AAE22 meeting.  Onsite testing will be available and testing expenses will be paid on own by the individual.

The AAE will be working with a third-party vendor for vaccination or COVID-19 test verification for AAE22. Complete information and directions for the verification process will be provided closer to the meeting dates.
 
The virtual meeting registration option is available for anyone that does not meet the vaccine or negative COVID-19 testing requirement.
 


ADA CERP
The AAE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, a recognized provider in California (#2030), Florida (#PP0049). Programs of the AAE (#214682) are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AAE designates this activity for up to 35.5 continuing education credits. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ada.org/cerp.

Portions of this AAE meeting may be photographed or audio/video recorded for various purposes, including reporting, promotion, archival, or sale and distribution. By registering, individuals agree that the AAE may photograph or record by audio/video their attendance and involvement in any portion of the meeting. Furthermore, individuals agree that the AAE may use these photographs and/or recordings without additional approval or permission.
