Ji Won, who goes by Christine, is a third year dental student at UCSF School of Dentistry. She completed B.S. at Northwestern University where she first became involved with research on circadian rhythms by winning the Undergraduate Research Grants. At UCSF, she was selected as a Summer Research Fellow to conduct research on molecular pathway behind Amelogenesis Imperfecta. She has won the first place for oral presentation at the Annual Meeting for San Francisco Dental Society in 2021. Her passion for endodontics led her to focus on endodontic regenerative studies as well as success of retreatment. She is currently the Vice President for Associated Dental Students through which she represents the School of Dentistry at Graduate & Professional Student Association at UCSF. She also serves as the Vice Chair for American Dental Education Association at UCSF chapter. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and piano, going to symphony concerts, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.
The AAE is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, a recognized provider in California (#2030), Florida (#PP0049). Programs of the AAE (#214682) are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AAE designates this activity for up to 35.5 continuing education credits. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ada.org/cerp.
