Sharon was born and raised in Queens, New York.

Sharon became interested in the research of pulp regeneration and vital pulp therapy after treating numerous undeveloped and mature teeth. This research will focus on whether there is a way to regenerate the pulp-dentin complex using a scaffold available in the clinic.
