Abstract: Bioceramic sealers have increased popularity through the years due to its reputation for biocompatibility and lowered setting time. As a result, multiple brands have presented their own version of a bioceramic-based sealer. The aim of this table clinic is to compare five commonly marketed bioceramic sealers: EndoSequence BioCeramic Sealer (Brasseler), NeoSEALER Flo (Avalon BioMed), AHPlus BioCeramic Sealer (Dentsply), EdgeBioCeramic (EdgeEndo), and KometBioSeal (Komet). Simulations of obturating a resin root canal block will demonstrate the handling properties, setting times, and radiographic appearance of each of the five sealers. By comparing the working properties of these five bioceramic sealers on the market, we hope that clinicians will feel more acquainted with variations of a material that has become widely implemented into our daily obturation protocols.
