Dan Hudock, Ph.D., CCC-SLP; Associate Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Idaho State University, SIG 4 Associate Coordinator, and Northwest Center for Fluency Disorders (NWCFD) Founding Director, integrates his personal experiences with stuttering to better understand psycho-social-emotional aspects of fluency disorders, interprofessional collaboration with Counselors (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) used in their interprofessional intensive clinic), and neuroscience bases of stuttering using high-density EEG.

•Since August of 2012 I've been a faculty member at Idaho State University and I plan on continuing to be a university professor. I have received grant funding through the Malcolm Fraser Foundation over the past few years to support our training and intensive stuttering clinic utilizing ACT, MI, and basic counseling skills. I'm an elected member of ASHA's SIG 4 Coordinating Committee (3 year term, in my second year) and have paid travel to the national office annually for face-to-face meetings.
