Health & Safety

ASAM remains fully committed to holding a successful in-person meeting and is working closely with the Diplomat Beach Resort and vendor partners in order to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. ASAM’s priority is always the health and well-being of our community, so we are working to implement thorough safety protocols to meet or exceed the recommendations from the CDC, as well as industry standards. Please review the below health and safety protocols to ensure your safety and well-being during the ASAM 53rd Annual Conference.

Vaccination or Negative Test Requirement

ASAM is requiring all meeting participants to be vaccinated or to have received a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arriving at the conference. Attendees will need to attest to this requirement upon registering and should plan to bring and may be asked to provide documentation of vaccination or test results on-site.

Mask Requirement

Masks must be worn at all times in all ASAM meeting spaces.

Social Distancing & Capacity Limits

Seating during sessions and meals will be appropriately spaced according to CDC guidelines and capacity limits. Attendees are also asked to appropriately distance during exhibit hall hours and networking activities, which will take place outdoors as often as possible.

Sanitation

Each attendee will be provided with a hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes will be available in all high touch areas, such a registration. The hotel will strategically place additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the meeting space, but it's up to you to keep your hands clean.

Hotel Practices

The Diplomat Beach Resort has implemented the Hilton Clean Stay Program. In addition to increases cleaning protocols, there is contactless arrival, upon request housekeeping and other enhancements. Click here for more information: https://www.hilton.com/en/p/what-to-expect/
