Dr. Charles T. Maupin grew up in Artesia, New Mexico. He graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Lubbock Christian University. Dr. Maupin received his DDS degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. Following graduation from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Maupin attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Resident and received his endodontic specialty. Dr. Maupin continues to be involved in UCLA where he is a part-time faculty member. Dr. Maupin was a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics. He maintains a private practice in endodontics and implants in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Maupin has a patent for dynamically guided endodontics. He gives lectures and teaches hands on courses over this topic and it's use in the field of endodontics. Dr. Maupin also gives lectures and teaches hands on courses over the use of the YSGG laser in endodontics and the role it plays.
