As a registered attendee or participant (“you”) in AAE23 (the “Event”) you agree to these terms and conditions (collectively, the “Agreement”) with the American Association of Endodontists (“AAE”). If you are completing the registration on behalf of another individual, you warrant that you have made the attendee or participant aware of this Agreement and that he or she has accepted these terms and conditions.
Registration packages will be refunded, less a $100 processing fee ($50 for students and staff), if the AAE receives written notification of cancellation by April 5, 2023. The assistant executive director of meetings and continuing education will review refund requests made in writing after this date as a result of emergencies or other serious events. Requests received after April 27, 2023, will be reviewed following the meeting.
Email cancellations to Maritz or call the customer service center (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST) at 864-208-2762 to submit your cancellation request.
Registration refunds approved by AAE will be issued within 5 to 7 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment.
Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individual attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations. Please reference your hotel and travel confirmations for their specific refund and cancellation policies.
Refunds for AAE workshops will not be granted, regardless of the circumstance, after April 5, 2023. A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for their scheduled workshop within 30 minutes of the published start time. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot at the workshop and an individual from the waitlist will be given their place.
Tickets for optional tours will be refunded, less a $10 processing fee per ticket, if the AAE receives written notification of cancellation by April 5, 2023. Cancellations received after this date are not eligible for refund. A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for the tour within 15 minutes of the published departure time. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot for the tour and an individual from the waitlist will be given their place.
Optional activities require attendees to RSVP during the registration process. Some activities may require an additional purchase from a separate, non-AAE vendor in order to participate. Should an attendee cancel or no-show for a designated activity, any refunds for purchases made from a non-AAE vendor must be requested directly from said vendor. AAE will not refund attendees for any purchases made outside of our registration system.
A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for the activity. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot for the activity.
I have read, understand and agree to the AAE Code of Conduct for Conferences and Tradeshows and the AAE Meetings and Events Health and Safety Code of Conduct.
I understand that portions of this AAE meeting may be photographed or audio/video recorded for various purposes, including reporting, promotion, archival, or sale and distribution. By registering, I agree that the AAE may photograph or record by audio/video my attendance and involvement in any portion of the meeting. Furthermore, I agree that the AAE may use these photographs and/or recordings without additional approval or permission.
Registration confirmations are auto-generated by the AAE’s registration provider, Maritz, and sent to the email address provided during the registration process. If you did not receive your confirmation, please contact aaendo@Maritz.com.
By completing the registration process and acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, you are providing your consent to receive emails and other mailings from AAE related to the Event in order to facilitate your participation. Specifically, you are providing consent to allow AAE to use your Contact Information to facilitate access to the Event programming, including all digital platforms related to the Event.
In consideration of being allowed to attend AAE23, I, on behalf of myself and all guests of mine, freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) or its members, employees, board members, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, illness or sickness (including but not limited to those caused by known or unknown infectious or communicable disease such as COVID, H1N1, or other illness or sickness caused by other bacteria or viruses), harm, injury to the person (including loss of life), disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that I may hereafter suffer resulting from or arising in connection with attendance at, travel to or from, and/or participation in any activities associated with this Event, whether caused by negligence, intentional act, accident, act of God, or otherwise, and whether occurring before, during, or after the Event.
