Dr
State University of Campinas-UNICAMP, Brazil
Graduated in Dentistry from UNICAMP (2009-2013) and PhD in Oral Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Dundee, UK (2014-2017), on the topic of intracellular invasion and carcinogenesis of oral pathogens, with emphasis on protein synthesis and purification recombinants. He also has a specialization in Endodontics (2018-2020), with an emphasis on endodontic microsurgery, and a PhD in Endodontics (2019-2020), with an emphasis on endodontic microbiology, both from UNICAMP. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow (FAPESP) at UNICAMP in the area of Endodontics. During graduation, he did an exchange at The State University of New York at Buffalo, with a CAPES scholarship, with an internship in the Biomaterials laboratory of the School of Dental Medicine. During his doctorate abroad, he also carried out an internship in the Molecular Biology laboratory at the University of Tubingen, NMI, Germany, with training in the DigiWest technique. His main research interests are: endodontic microbiology, endodontics, materials, molecular microbiology, immunology, oral carcinogenesis, and cell signaling pathways.
