Endodontic First Year Resident
Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine
Dr. Akiva Lautman was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated high school in 2012 and spent two years studying abroad in Israel. He then went to undergraduate university at Yeshiva University in New York City where he majored in Biology. After graduating in 2017 Akiva spent one year teaching science at a middle school in Brooklyn after which he moved to Florida with his wife to begin dental school. Dr. Lautman graduated NOVA Southeastern University in May of 2022 and was accepted into their Post Graduate Endodontics program starting in July of 2022. Him and his wife have a Mini Goldendoodle and this past year they gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Dr. Lautman fell in love with Endodontics in D2 when he had incredible professors who exuded love and passion for their field. Once he started treating patients, I realized that being the specialist that people rely on to save their teeth, is one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry. I have gained so much knowledge from the program already, and I realize that this is only the tip of the Iceberg.
