The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is a data-driven, law enforcement agency focused on developing innovative approaches or solutions to meet critical public safety and public health mission needs. To respond to spikes in violent crime and overdoses, the DEA is executing data sprints to leverage its partnerships and data resources. The goal is to not only better serve state and local public safety and public health officials but the general public. This session will highlight three initiatives at the DEA focused on: diversion, intelligence, and community outreach.
