Session Description: Learn how Colorado brought together state level leadership to implement an initiative referred to as the Sequencing of Services initiative to better coordinate services for students and youth with disabilities. This past year, Sequencing of Services was piloted in four Colorado communities: Weld, Pueblo, Mesa, and Denver Public School Districts. In this session, you will learn from local chapters of The Arc who were active partners in helping to build interagency transition teams and aligning resources to support their communities.

Learning Objectives:

Learn about Colorado's new framework referred to as Sequencing of Services and how a new shared interagency vision can work to support student and youth outcomes.
Discover how local Arc chapters were involved in the pilot sites and how their involvement with schools and interagency community and state agency partners supported their work.
Understand how local Arc chapters can play key roles in supporting interagency collaboration and connection.
