Mike was hired by the Choctaw Nation in 2017 and has over 30 years experience in community and economic development. He has a Masters in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of the OU Economic Development Institute. Mike was elected in 2004 to the AICP Commission representing Region 3. In addition to his time on the Commission, he has served on many national and state professional boards.
