Dr. Ken Izuora is a Professor of Medicine at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is the division director for Endocrinology and the program director of the endocrinology fellowship training program at UNLV.
He received his medical degree from the University of Nigeria College of Medicine, residency training at the University of Rochester/Unity Health Program, and endocrinology fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta.
He practices general endocrinology with research focused on diabetes and related complications.
He is a member of the AACE board of directors and a co-author of the updated AACE Diabetes Guidelines.
