Join colleagues in the Collaboration Station for one of three “micro” sessions on championing vaccines for our patients with diabetes. The micro-sessions will start at 1 pm, 1:15 pm and 1:30 pm.
After each micro-session, faculty will be available to discuss what they are learning from implementing QI programs to improve vaccine coverage for persons with diabetes within their institutions.

NOTE: This session is provided by AACE, through the grant Specialty Societies Advancing Adult Immunizations, funded by the CDC and coordinated through the Council on Medical Specialty Societies

Learning Objectives:

Explain why vaccinations are so important for persons with diabetes.
Describe strategies to help improve vaccine coverage for our patients with diabetes.
Identify tools and resources that you can use to champion vaccines in your practice.
