Rachel Greenberg B.S. (she/her) is a third-year medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her research interests include addressing disparities in pregnancy outcomes and understanding the factors that contribute to increased maternal morbidity and mortality in historically marginalized populations. As previous co-president of the obstetrics and gynecology interest group, Rachel has revamped the labor and delivery shadowing program as well as facilitated opportunities for medical students to gain experience with gynecologic exams. Rachel is currently a participant in the Health Advocacy in Pregnancy and Infancy program, which involves presenting educational modules about mental health, contraception, and breastfeeding to individuals at a local women’s shelter. Rachel founded the Addiction Medicine Interest Group at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has developed a Narcan Training program that is offered every year to first-year medical students during their orientation. She also enjoys mentoring first and second-year medical students, advocating for mental health awareness and serving as a STEP1 tutor.
