Myriam Mondestin Sorrentino, MD, FACOG, ABOM
Dr. Myriam Mondestin Sorrentino is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine.
She holds an executive leadership certificate from the Wharton Business School. Dr. Mondestin is the founder and
director of Princeton Perinatal Institute. She holds voluntary faculty appointments at both Rutgers and Thomas Jefferson University Medical School. She is the president of Middlesex & Mercer Counties Medical Society in NJ and is a member of the NJ delegation to the AMA.
As a member of the NJ delegation to the AMA, Dr Mondestin was instrumental in drafting a resolution asking our AMA to advocate for the creation of a federal task force to confront obesity which became part of the AMA's recommendation to the WH Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health in September 2022.
One of her guiding principles is that with great privileges come with great responsibilities.
