Manuscript review for a scientific journal is an opportunity to assure that clear, thoroughly evaluated information is published for the readership while also assisting colleagues to present their work. This roundtable will be facilitated by an Associate Editor of the journal Urogynecology. We will consider how to structure a review and important expectations in remarks to both the author and the editor. Discussion will include scientific paper appraisal tips that will improve your own journal submissions. We will also look at specifics of applying to be a peer reviewer and resources for career promotion.
