Even before Congress re-opened to the door for the CCBHC Medicaid Demonstration to have more states in July 2022, policymakers in state legislative and executive branches were appropriating funds and passing legislation to establish the model through a State Plan Amendment (SPA). Rhode Island and Indiana passed CCBHC legislation to establish the model to fidelity with additional innovations that will help clients be even more successful in their care delivery. While both states are moving toward CCBHC, their journeys are different. Hear their stories and CCBHC efforts from other states.
