Dan Barden serves as the vice president for clinical services at CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness, Inc in Tucson, Ariz. He has a master’s degree in counseling with over 30 years’ experience in behavioral health. The majority of his career he has been spent in rural behavioral health with a wide variety of duties including administrative and clinical oversight of a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility, residential substance abuse treatment programs, day programs for persons with serious mental illness and standard and intensive outpatient programs substance abuse treatment programs for adolescents and adults. For the past five-plus years he has been part of the CODAC Health, Recovery and Wellness, Inc., leadership team with responsibilities including oversight of a 24-hour per day/seven-days per week medication-assisted treatment program, two large general outpatient clinics as well as specialty services for mental health court ordered treatment, criminal justice involved programs, substance use disorder Intensive outpatient and standard outpatient treatment programs.
