Savannah Jones is the Chief Administrative Officer for WestCare Foundation, Inc. In this role, Ms. Jones is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the following departments: Human Resources, Professional Services, and Grant Development. She is responsible for ensuring the success of these departments through her guidance and direction regarding hiring, onboarding, retention, training, research, and evaluation, CARF accreditation, grant development, and compliance policies and practices as she monitors how the impact of human capital benefits the overall organization. In conjunction with these responsibilities, Ms. Jones leads WestCare’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Staff Workgroup, while also serving as the liaison for the National Board of Directors’ Diversity, Race, and Social Justice Committee.
Upon leaving the hospitality industry to follow her passion for working in the social services field, Ms. Jones joined WestCare in 2016 as the Vice President of Talent Management and, in 2019, was promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In her role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Jones found great success in providing direction and leadership to management teams regarding human resource matters while simultaneously developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures according to federal and state laws and regulations. Her extraordinary skills in human relations have allowed WestCare to avoid litigation and other potential losses as she also oversees participation in Equal Employment Opportunity, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal and state regulations.
Previously, Ms. Jones gained vast knowledge in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources while working for corporations such as Hilton Grand Vacations, Wyndham Destinations, and Caesars Entertainment. In addition to 18 years of human resources, she also has previous experience serving as the President of a small Non-Profit called You Got the Power and in consulting and facilitation with various organizations such as women’s prisons, youth programs, and shelters in the Las Vegas area. This experience, coupled with her passion for career training and professional development, suits her perfectly for her role at WestCare.
Ms. Jones attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and is certified as an Elite Certified Recruitment Expert (ECRE). She received the President’s Award at Wyndham for being the top Recruiter and was honored in the Who’s Who for Human Resources Professionals for the past 2 years.
