Tina-Marie Brown, LCSW-C is currently the director for Affiliated Sante' Eastern Shore Crisis Response Services (ESCRS), which provides service to eight counties with a regional call center, a CIT program, four mobile crisis teams and 5 mobile response stabilzation teams and a School based intervention team. As a member of American Association of Suicidology she chairs the mobile crisis sub-committee. A majority of her career has been spent working with consumers who have experienced mental illness, substance use and multiple traumas. She is experienced in program and policy development, program evaluation and management. As a result of her strong leadership skills she has created a successful intern program for ESCRS as well as being a board approved supervisor. She has attended National Council's Middle Management Academy. She received her Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland School of Social Work and her Bachelor of Social Work from Salisbury University. A lifelong resident of Caroline County, Md., her community service includes serving on the board for Caroline County Department of Social Services, participating in hospital diversion, crisis intervention and behavioral health integration workgroups. She has participated in poster presentations for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. She has presented trainings at NAMI on de-escalation techniques, Maryland Rural Health Association on co-occurring capable mobile crisis teams and child and adolescent hospital diversion and the annual on our own conference on mobile crisis and CIT services. She has also created presentations on workforce development, de-escalation techniques, mobile crisis, suicide prevention and child and adolescent interventions that have been presented for various organizations in Maryland. She is a certified trainer for the Criminal Justice Academy @ Wor-Wic Community College, participates in CIT trainings in her jurisdictions. She is trained for critical incident stress management and has provided debriefings for the community.
