I’ve been part of Aetna (now CVS) since the summer of 2020, mostly focusing on NBAs within the behavioral health space. The suicide prevention project has been a huge highlight, providing opportunities to work with engaged stakeholders across (and outside) the enterprise, tackle challenging technical problems, and, most importantly, help impact an incredibly sensitive and important topic. Other projects include reducing in-patient behavioral health events, predicting mental health conditions with audio data, and building an open-sourced package to handle imbalanced classification problems.
In terms of my personal background – I grew up in Alabama, attended undergrad at TCU, grad school at Columbia University, and now live in New York City. In my free time, I like to be active (running/working out/hiking/playing sports), learn new things (from books/movies/new quarantine hobbies like piano and chess), and explore (within the city or traveling).
