E6 - Prevention Approaches for College and University Alcohol Harms

Contrary to popular opinion, alcohol is the number one drug problems faced by colleges and college students, and is a bigger problem for college students than other non-college going young adults. Prevention and early intervention approaches haven't been universally broadcast or implemented at this level. Knowing the dynamics of college alcohol use and abuse and creating and employing evidence based systems and practices for this niche population is an opportunity for prevention programs and community coalitions.
