Learn about the journey that led to 80% of our residents who arrived to our program obese to maintain or lose weight after arrival. In the past, it was the norm in our residential program serving those with severe and chronic mental illness to gain weight while living in the program. We used LEAN methodology to guide our interventions including gardening, nutritional enhancements, resident cooked meals and increased physical activity.
