The social enterprise model integrates business principles and practices into traditional human service operations to bring MHFA to the widest possible audience and the most communities. These projects are deeply mission-driven, delivering positive societal benefits while improving the fiscal stability of organizations by diversifying revenue streams. To do this, we must “think bigger” to create more sustainable business structures. This is a must-attend session for MHFA Instructors interested in reaching a larger audience and nonprofit leaders interested in launching a social enterprise project centered on training.

Learning Objectives:

Define the concept of social enterprise, particularly as it applies to MHFA.
Implement a customer-service model focusing on high-quality training and follow-up.
Explain the importance of a MHFA Social Enterprise Business Plan that includes partnership and mission alignment.
