Stretching beyond traditional peer services to support the needs of individuals with substance use challenges will provide opportunities for diverse services to support overall health and wellness with a multi-faceted approach resulting in greater wellbeing, quality of life and success in recovery. We will share data with engagement rates.

Learning Objectives:

Reflect on the standard of care for individuals with substance use disorders to identify opportunities for engagement and compassion.
Deconstruct the elements of the Project Connect support model to determine where components can be implemented within health care settings.
Facilitate organizational discussions on best practices for supportive engagement of individuals with substance use disorders within and following visits to health care settings.
